🗺️ Excursion Itinerary

Day One: Ancient Wonders Grand Egyptian Museum tour & Giza Pyramids from Sharm El Sheikh

• Hotel Pick-up You will be picked up from your hotel (usually around 1:00 AM, depending on location) to begin the drive to Cairo with your English-speaking representative.
• Arrival in Cairo the estimated arrival time in Cairo is 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, you will be met by your certified English-speaking guide at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to officially begin your tour.
• Nile Felucca Ride (Optional) This optional experience offers a relaxing ride on a traditional Nile felucca (sailboat). Enjoy the refreshing breeze, take in stunning views of the city from the water, and get a unique perspective of the great Nile River. (Extra charge: 10 EURO).
• The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) The GEM is a world-class facility designed to showcase Egypt’s incredible heritage. Located near the Pyramids, its architecture combines modern design with traditional motifs, offering stunning views of the Giza Plateau. The museum houses thousands of artifacts, including the magnificent Tutankhamun galleries and the Solar Boat Museum.
• Lunch Lunch will be served at a local restaurant near the Pyramids area. Please note that drinks are not included in the cost of the meal and are available for an extra charge.
• Shopping You will have approximately one hour to shop for souvenirs and Egyptian goods. (If you are not interested in shopping, you are welcome to wait in the comfort of our air-conditioned bus.)
• Giza Plateau Discovery (The Pyramids of Giza) Witness these ancient wonders, built over 4,500 years ago as monumental tombs for the Pharaohs. The Giza Necropolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and includes the three most famous pyramids in the world: the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.

🛍️ Shopping and Overnight Stay

• Souvenir Shopping At the end of the day, you will have approximately 1 hour to shop for authentic Egyptian souvenirs and antiques. (If you prefer not to shop, you are welcome to wait in the air-conditioned bus.)
• Hotel Check-in You will then be transferred to a comfortable 3–4-star hotel where you will spend the night.

🕌 Day 2: The Citadel & Old Cairo

• Breakfast at your hotel followed by pick-up by your guide.

• Explore this medieval Islamic fortification that served as the seat of government for centuries.
• Key Sights: The alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha (dominating the skyline), the Mosque of al-Nasir Muhammad, and the military museums.

✝️ Old Cairo (Coptic & Religious History)

• Visit a unique area where religions converge.
• The Hanging Church: One of the oldest churches in Egypt.
• St. Sergius & Bacchus Church: Believed to be where the Holy Family rested.
• Ben Ezra Synagogue: A historic Jewish temple.
• Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque: The first mosque ever built in Egypt.

🍽️ Buffet Lunch

• Stop in central Cairo for a delicious open-buffet lunch with a variety of options.

🏮 Khan El Khalili Bazaar

• Walk through the medieval streets of this 14th-century market.
• Soak in the vibrant atmosphere, smells of spices, and the hustle of merchants in this historic trading hub.

🚍 Return to Sharm El Sheikh

• 06:00 PM: Depart Cairo.
• Drop-off: Arrive back in Sharm El Sheikh and transfer directly to your hotel.
